Fastpong at the European Veterans Championships 2023 in Norway

Fastpong joined thousands of competitors at the European Veterans Table Tennis Championships, held from 26 June to 1 July 2023 at the Oslofjord Convention Center in Sandefjord, Norway.

The scale of the venue was impressive, but it was the atmosphere that made the week memorable. With accommodation, dining and competition facilities together on site, players could spend time together long after their matches had finished. Familiar faces, new friendships and conversations about table tennis were part of everyday life throughout the championships.

Great summer weather and excellent table tennis added to the occasion. There was plenty of competitive spirit in the playing halls, alongside a relaxed and welcoming social atmosphere around the venue.

For Fastpong, it was an opportunity to demonstrate our system and meet players and coaches from across Europe. Visitors could try it firsthand at our booth and talk with us about training, technology and their experiences in the sport.

Following our visits to Oman and India earlier in the year, Norway was another important step in introducing Fastpong to the international table tennis community. It was also a reminder of how much these events offer beyond the competition itself: the chance to connect with people who share a lifelong enthusiasm for the game.
