Fastpong’s First Visit to India: Table Tennis in Kerala and Goa

Fastpong’s first visit to India brought us to two very different stages of the sport: the country’s emerging young talent in Kerala and international competition in Goa.

Our trip included the UTT 84th Inter State Sub Junior and Cadet National Table Tennis Championships, held in Alappuzha, Kerala, from 19–27 February 2023. Young players representing states across India competed at the event, and their enthusiasm extended to the Fastpong stand. Players returned again and again to try the system and enjoy its challenges.

At WTT Star Contender Goa 2023, the impressive venue hosted many of the world’s leading table tennis players. Away from the competition, Fastpong attracted interest from enthusiastic players, coaches and academy owners, giving us opportunities to demonstrate the system and discuss its use in their training environments.

Both appearances were supported by our new partner, Stag, who supplied equipment and helped with arrangements at short notice. Their practical support and wonderful hospitality helped make our first Indian trip run smoothly.

From young competitors returning for another turn to coaches exploring possibilities for their academies, the visit introduced us to an energetic and welcoming table tennis community. Thank you to everyone who took the time to try Fastpong.
